These terms govern your use of Braidcast. By installing or using the application you agree to them.

The service

Braidcast is desktop software that lets you broadcast to one or more third-party streaming platforms. It is built on OBS Studio and distributed under the GNU General Public License v2 or later (GPLv2+).

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the content you broadcast and for complying with the terms of service and community guidelines of every platform you connect. You must hold the rights necessary for any content you stream.

Third-party platforms

Braidcast connects to platforms such as Google / YouTube, Twitch, and Kick. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their availability, policies, or actions taken against your account.

No warranty

The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, to the extent permitted by law and consistent with its open-source license.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the software.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the application evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date.
